Course Description

The course starts at the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole, and does a quick turn through north and then joins the Jackson Community Pathway System. Just before mile 1, the marathoners will merge and the half and full courses are the same for the rest of the run.

Around mile 1.5, you’ll be turning west on the pathway along Highway 22, climbing a short hill and then descending down toward the Snake River, which you’ll cross around mile 3.5. Have you camera ready and enjoy some of the best views of the day as you cross the river. Next, you’ll head out on the newest section of Community Pathway from Stilson to Wilson and then track back on the Centennial Pathway.

At mile 6.5, you’ll be heading north toward the Grand Teton and the Finish Line. Next stop: the elk antler arch finish line in Teton Village. 99.6% of the course is run on paved roads and/or paved pathways, but the last .1 mi into the Finish Line is on grass. Please, no whining.
